the organic daffodil bouquet

Maybe it’s just from my childhood memories in the garden, and remembering the first sign of spring, but nothing symbolizes spring more to me than seeing beautiful fresh daffodils. Whether you’re having a spring wedding with a budget, or just want to add a little something to your simple bouquet, here’s a quick and easy idea. Whatever it’s for, I’m sure it will bring joy to the occasion.

supplies
daffodils (I got mine at Trader Joe’s for $1.59, I used three bundles. Better yet, get from your garden.)
ribbon (I used a simple, thin, white ribbon that I got a Michaels, but you can get at any craft supply store.)
burlap garland (I got at Michaels but you should be able to get at any craft/supply store.)

directions
Get your daffodils a day ahead, and place them in a vase in a spot with lots of light, to allow them to fully open. Then once you have all of your supplies, simply fold the garland from both edges (top and bottom) to meet in the middle, and create a nice crease on both the top and bottom edges. Next, either tie the garland into a knot (if you want the more organic look) or cut one side of the garland to the desired length, and wrap around and fold over the last section so you have a nice crease. Then hot glue the crease to the wrapped piece. Next, just tie the thin ribbon around the bouquet, and end with a nice bow. Here you have a very organic looking spring bouquet. Simply beautiful!
